Board Member- Australia
FWI's Board of Trustees is always looking for passionate people to help lead our organisation. The Board's responsibilities include managing resources, developing the organisation and programs, fundraising and setting priorities. We welcome applications from people with various professional and personal backgrounds.
Role length: 12+ months
Board Member- Kenya
FWI's Board of Directors are responsible for development and implementation of all local programs in Kenya. Growing FWI's presence and impact on the ground and strengthening stakeholder relationships and developing sustainable income generating activities are all part of this role. We are currently looking for several new board Members.
Role length: 12+ months
Events Volunteer- Australia
FWI run regular events and fundraisers where we always need extra hands. No matter what your skillset is, we would love your help. These roles include remote/online and in-person opportunities.
Some areas we would love support in are: photography, videography/editing, social media/promotions, market stall volunteers, events operations.
Role length: Flexible/ various

Events Volunteer- Kenya

International Volunteer-Kenya
FWI Programs are always looking for volunteers to help deliver our activities and education sessions, as well as Health events in Kenya.
If you have education or skills in health, social work, income generation activities (IGAs), Art, or other skills and are passionate about helping young people and their communities in Kenya, please contact us.
Please note: This is not a paid position and will work under the supervision of the Programs Manager
Role Length: Flexible/various
Have you ever dreamed of going to Kenya to work with young people. schools and villages?
FWI have regular opportunities for volunteers to join our Kenyan team and contribute their skills and passion, whilst absorbing the incredible Kenyan culture.

School Partnerships
If you work in a school or organisation that can connect students/ young people with the Kenyan students FWI works with, we would love to partner with you. The ILEAP program is an incredible opportunity to discover friendship and culture, build awareness and improve English skills.Â
We need people who can help facilitate, collect, organise and monitor letter exchanges, with support from the FWI team.
